Come along Circus Kumarani's 18th Northland Circus Festival! At a BRAND NEW LOCATION! Only a 15min drive from Whangarei.
Circus Kumarani brings Northland Circus Festival to Mangakahia Sports complex in Poroti, Whangarei.
From the 23rd -26th January we have an exciting lineup of workshops, music, live art and circus shows for all ages and abilities!
From beginners to advanced, active participants to show spectators, there is something for everyone!
Flexible tickets from full event, day passes, or come in the evening and watch a spectacular show.
Children under 5 are free with a ticket holder.

Taking place over two days, Circability once again presents an inclusive circus celebration for all youth to attend!
On Friday, 1 November, Circability instructors will offer inclusive workshops for our current community, as well as other youth who want to give circus skills a go!
On Saturday, 2 November, Circability will be joined by FlipnFly, Circus Kumarani and Dust Palace to offer inclusive juggling, diabolo, aerial and hoop workshops for youth in a fabulous venue in central Auckland.

Circus Kumarani, known for winning 'Audience Choice' at the 2020 and 2022 Whangārei Fringe Festival, brings you a show that captures the joy and challenges of growing up.
Circus Kumarani teaches social circus classes in communities across Northland- and you are invited to join! We will be running a FREE circus zone from 12pm til 2pm, come and find us on the grass behind Ad Focus!
Our FREE preschool class is very Wednesday of Term 3 from 10am to 11:30am at the Tangiteroria Sports Complex.
Caregivers will play, connect and build relationships through circus activities.
Tamariki will be supported to grow and learn new motor skills in a fun, safe environment. This program will build trust, confidence and coordination.
Most suited to tamariki 2-5 years but pepi and/or siblings can be present and will have a separate play area with additional age appropriate toys etc for them.
This is a positive parenting program through Takai funding and Whānau Focus
Tamariki.
No need to book in, just show up on the day!

DARGAVILLE - New Community Garden Working Bee
We've marked out where the first two garden beds are going and now we need help to get the prep work done. Come for an hour or stay for 4!
Handy with a Spade? Weedeater? Screwdriver? We have a variety of tasks needing done - from plumbing in the water tank, weeding, siting the compost bins and levelling the site for the raised garden beds - all and any skill level welcome, help us get this new Community Garden up and running! Tee

We will work on creating individual/group routines as part of the holiday program.
Youth will perform these in our 1pm Friday Whanau Show (at the end of the week) to show off their skills to friends and family.
Classes run 10-2pm each weekday
